Configuring Office Holidays in 3CX

1. Log in to your 3CX system and navigate to the Admin Console.

If you don't have Admin Console access available, please reach out to help@unitycloud.nz and we can arrange that for you.

2. Click on Office Hours

If you don't see the Office Hours option, we may need to adjust your privileges - help@unitycloud.nz.

3. If you have multiple departments, select the appropriate one. For the majority of users "DEFAULT" will be the best choice.

5. Click on Add

6. Give the holiday a meaningful name.

7. Select whether it will be a single day or a range of days. You can also select if the holiday should repeat annually.

When selecting a range of days, the system will consider it to be a holiday from midnight-to-midnight. If, for example, you are closed for half the day on Thursday, but all day Friday, you'd just need to set up two separate 'single day' holidays with appropriate time frames.

Select whether it will be a single day or a range of days. You can also select if the holiday should repeat annually.

8. You also have the option to upload a separate prompt message just for this holiday. This prompt will play before any other message you have set on your night/holiday call flow.

9. Rather than upload a prompt, you can record from your desk phone, or from the microphone on your computer.

10. Click on Save to set the holiday.
